KNEWS :: Crash a la carte?!

Residents and visitors of New York City who meet with the misfortune of an accident may go for broke when considering the area's breaking news -- that some emergency services might become fee-based in the future. In an effort to fill chasms in the city's budget, costs such as $490 for a car fire with human injury and $415 without may accompany rescues. The charges are also touted as an effort to ease taxpayers' burdens. Try not to feel too disgusted, though, as relief may be challenging to find for the moment. The Johnson & Johnson company is also in the news this week, because various types of its Rolaids antacid are being recalled for the alleged discovery of wood and metal chips in the product.
